Shuttle Service to the Conference Center: Shuttle service will be provided to and from the hotels for all conference activities. The shuttle schedule will be distributed to you upon check-in at your hotel. If you choose to drive, there is parking available in the garage below the Microsoft Conference Center. All drivers must register their vehicle with the front desk upon arrival at the Conference Center.
Driving Directions to the Conference
Center:
• From either North or Southbound I-405 take the East Highway
520 exit towards Redmond
• Stay on East Highway 520 to the NE 40th Street exit
Take the NE 40th Street exit
• Turn right at stop sign onto NE 40th Street
• Turn right at first light onto 156th Ave NE
• Turn left onto NE 36th Street
• Follow NE 36th Street until you get to 36th Way
• Where 36th Street and 36th Way intersect stay to the right,
Microsoft Conference Center is on the left marked building #33
Open Parking is available under Building 33 and in the parking garage to the North of Building #33. A parking pass is required and can be obtained with the Conference Center from the Registration/Information Desk.
Hotels: Hotel accommodations may be secured when you register for the meeting. Meeting Solutions Inc. will manage all hotel reservations and cancellations until Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by 5:00pm Eastern Time. We have secured the following hotels for the CIO Summit and ground transportation will be provided from all of these hotels to all meetings and events:

Cancellation Policy: Please note, should you need to make changes or cancellations after Wednesday, February 17, 2010 (regardless of how you reserved your room) you must contact the hotel directly to cancel and also please notify us at ciousps@microsoft.com. Hotel cancellations MUST be made 72 hours in advance of anticipated arrival or your credit card will be charged. If less than 72 hours in advance please be certain to contact the hotels directly at the number above.
2010 Winter Olympics: The 2010 Winter Games is the largest event the Vancouver region has hosted, with many visitors wishing to come to Vancouver and Whistler to experience the Games and the area. The official Olympic dates are February 12th through the 28th. Based on patterns observed at previous Olympic Games, accommodations, flights, and transportation in the area will be in high demand. MEETING DETAILS:
Registration: On-site registration will
provide you with your Summit credentials and conference
materials. Registration will be open throughout the
Summit.
Dress Code: Business causal is suggested for all meeting sessions.
Attendee Guests: Due to the confidential information discussed throughout the conference, we request that you do not bring your spouse or any companion to the meetings or related event functions.
Evening Events: There are two evening
events planned for the CIO Summit. Transportation will be provided
for both of these events:
• Welcome Reception on Tuesday, February 23rd from
6:00-8:00 pm
• Networking Reception and Dinner on Wednesday, February
24th from 6:30-9:00 pm
The following meals are included at the Summit:
• Tuesday, February 23rd - Welcome Reception that
includes hors d'oeuvres and beverages
• Wednesday, February 24th - Continental breakfast,
lunch, reception and dinner
• Thursday, February 25th - Continental breakfast and
lunch
Scheduled activity costs during the conference sessions and shuttle
services from the hotels to the sessions and evening events will be
provided.

How to stay in touch with your office: We will have phone lines available for you to call your office during lunch and breaks at the Microsoft Campus. These phones require credit cards or calling cards for long distance service. High speed Internet access Cat-5 cables, and analog lines for local dial-up or long distance credit card dial-up numbers will be available for you to access your email during breaks.

Non-Disclosure Agreement: In consideration of the confidential nature of the information that will be shared at the CIO Summit, we require that a Microsoft Non-Disclosure Agreement be in place for each attendee. You may download the NDA provided on the registration website, click here, and bring the document signed to the registration desk at the summit, or one will be provided for you onsite.
Microsoft Financing: Microsoft Financing provides government at all levels flexible payment options to acquire the IT solutions they need today to increase efficiencies while staying within budget.
